Alphacare is our proprietary product to assist you in your first 30 days as Executor. We prepare the necessary forms and letters, electronic or otherwise, to:

• Advise the Executor or Trustee of their responsibilities
• Communicate with the beneficiaries and notify them of their interests in the Estate
• Advise the insurance company of the death
• Apply for all pensions, death benefits, life insurance or any other benefits that are payable to the deceased’s Estate
• Issue Letters of Direction for all known memberships, associations, and similar
• Advise the joint tenant of the deceased’s death, if there is any jointly owned property
• Notify any beneficiary named on life insurance policies, RRSPs or other assets where the named beneficiary is someone other than the Estate
• Advertise for creditors and claimants, if appropriate
• Prepare a list of tasks which remain for the Executor or Trustee to administer and settle the Estate
